![]() ![]() Blight is -the- most resisted element in the game. Rain of Poison Blades actually isn't that good. They will take one damage from almost every attack in the game pre- t4, which will still only swing for single digits. Hell, if you want to be hilarious with it, grab a dreadnought hero alongside rogue leader, amp their defense a bit, then give them moving target. For the spell's cost per cast, it gives an insane benefit that can decide battles if used right. Heroes with moving target and lifesteal have two turns of nigh invincibility. Assassins with moving target can toe-to-toe anything in the game and burst it down. ![]() +8 armor for 2 turns is enough to allow many higher end units to flat out IGNORE damage. Moving target is a situational spell in the same way smokescreen is. Many of my games have been -decided- by the sheer speed I was able to expand in multiple directions at the same time, and CA is why rogue can do that. Gets you free instant open borders quite often (this can often run you 100+ gold on larger cities without it). It can easily save you hundreds of gold, accelerate city buying, prevents random wardecs on your scouts (It actually virtually removes the odds of any independant city ever wardecing you). Placing it low suggests you've little experience with Rogue's methodology. Quickdash basically deserves its own tier.Ĭourtesan ambassadors is AMAZING -if- you know how to play it. You can hardly call it "situational" when its situation is hero removal, army recruitment, flanking, attrition warfare, and it comes with massive innate resists to boot. In terms of rogue, Succubus is up there for best t3 in the game. Oh, and blight is the most resisted element in the game for good measure. ![]() ![]() The amount of times I've seen a swarm darter triple strike for below 8 damage total is quite high once higher end units filter in. While it's good early, it gets doubly affected by high defense units, which makes it laughable later in the game. ![]()
